YEARS AGO I SAW A FILM WHERE RIK DATED THIS CRAZY WOMAN/DATED HELENA BONHAM CARTER. WHERE CAN I SEE THIS AGAIN?

These two films were from the first Rik Mayall Presents trilogy. Of all the mail this website gets, questions about these two RMP episode are the most frequent.

In the film titled Briefest Encounter, Rik's date is played by Amanda Donohoe. During the course of the date they both begin to mistrust each other and begin to believe the other person is dangerous. During the course of the evening, Rik accidentily kills the woman's dog and then tries to hide it.

In the other film, titled Dancing Queen, Rik is drugged and put on a train by his friends during his stag party. Unable to get back to his wedding on time, he befriends the stripper from the stag party (played by Helena Bonham Carter). The Abba song is used as the theme for Helena's character.

There were two series of RMP and both series were recently reissued on a DVD set.
